Questions people ask
Getting access and pricing
Is Landing Pages included with Coframe?
It's an add-on. If you see a locked screen in the product, ask your Coframe contact.
Do I need to install anything on my website?
No. Coframe hosts the pages. If you want them on your own domain, that's one DNS record. Nothing changes on your site.
Do I need a designer or a developer?
No. You describe the page, and Jarvis builds it in your brand. You can edit visually, or edit the code if you want to.
Brand and quality
Will the pages look like my brand?
Coframe reads your website and captures your colors, type, spacing, shape and voice. Every page is generated inside that, and off-brand colors and fonts are snapped back.
What if Coframe reads my brand wrong?
Tell Jarvis what to change, and it updates the design system. If your site blocks robots, give Coframe another address or upload your brand files.
Can I change things by hand?
Yes. Click any element to restyle it or rewrite it. Your changes are kept as overrides, so they survive when Jarvis makes other changes.
Jarvis
What does Jarvis do on its own?
It drafts: pages, copy, variants, findings, forms. It never publishes to production on its own. Production publishes go through Review & publish, and through approval if you turn that on.
Can I undo what Jarvis did?
Yes. Every save is a version. You can revert one Jarvis turn from its card in chat, or go back to any version.
Who is Jarvis?
Jarvis is Coframe's assistant. It's the same assistant that runs experiments for Coframe customers.
Domains and search
Will my pages show up on Google?
Pages on your own domain can. Sitemaps and robots files are handled for you. Pages on Coframe's default address never show up in search; that address is for you and your team.
Can I keep a page out of search?
Yes. Mark it "don't index," and that reaches every search engine and AI assistant.
Which domain option should I pick?
A subdomain like go.yourbrand.com suits most teams and takes one record. See For your engineer.
Testing and results
How does Coframe decide a winner?
Each variant shows the chance that it's the best, based on real visitors. A test is called when that chance is very high and enough time has passed.
How much traffic do I need?
It depends on your conversion rate. The page tells you: a quiet page says how many visitors it needs before it can say anything.
Can I test one part of a page, like the headline?
Yes. Ask Jarvis for a variant that changes only that. Visitors are split on the same address.
What's a holdout?
A share of visitors who see the plain page, so the lift from a change can be measured against something real.
Data, forms and privacy
Where do form answers go?
Into a table in your workspace. From there they can go to email, Slack, a webhook or a Google Sheet. Forms are in beta.
What data won't Coframe take?
Health, financial and children's data through forms, for now. Jarvis will decline those forms.
Is test data separated from real data?
Yes. Anything sent from a staging page is marked as test data and removed after 30 days.
Working together
Can people outside my company review a page?
Yes. Share a staging link. Guests can leave notes with just their name. They can't publish.
Can I require approval before publishing?
Yes, in beta. Turn on "Publishing needs approval." Approvers see the before and after and publish the exact version they reviewed.
What if two people edit at the same time?
Everyone sees who is changing what, and every open tab updates within a second. Unsaved code edits are kept, never overwritten.
Scale and limits
How many pages can I have?
There's no page limit in the product. The practical limit is how many you can measure well. Start with ten.
Are there limits on tables?
A row can hold up to 16 KB. A table accepts up to 10,000 writes a day. Test rows are kept for 30 days.
Does a change to one page change others?
Only if it's a shared part, and then Coframe shows you which pages can take the change. You choose.
